Notice of Meeting, 39th IPSC General Assembly

NOTICE OF MEETING
September 12, 2015

Please accept this communication as the notice convening the thirty-ninth IPSC General Assembly to be held in Agna, Italy, Saturday, September 12, 2015.

As usual, motions will not be accepted from the floor of the meeting except where specifically permitted by the IPSC Constitution. This way Regions which are unable to attend will have the opportunity to vote by proxy on the specific agenda motions and Regional Directors present will have had the opportunity to consult with their Regional Directorate prior to the meeting.

Any Region that has failed to meet their financial obligations to IPSC by July 31, 2015 will not be entitled to a vote in the General Assembly. If at the date of the Final Agenda any Region is more than ninety days in arrears a motion will be made to declare the Region vacant. If you are unsure of your status, please contact the IPSC office immediately or check on-line the Regional Director's page using your Personal Identification Number (PIN).

Any Region that wishes to have an item included in the Final Agenda must notify this office within thirty days of receipt of this notice. Such notification must include the wording of any proposal.

I am very much looking forward to seeing everyone and celebrating together our thirty-ninth General Assembly.

That the existing text under Article 15 Law & Jurisdiction of the Constitution be replaced with the following text:

'Any dispute arising from this Constitution which cannot be settled amicably under any other provision of this Constitution may be submitted for arbitration, by any party to the dispute, to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland, to the exclusion of any recourse to ordinary courts. The parties undertake to comply with the statute and regulations of the CAS, to accept in good faith the decision rendered without appeal, and in no way hinder its execution.'

Motions will not be accepted from the floor of the meeting except where specifically permitted by the IPSC Constitution. This way Regions that are unable to attend will have the opportunity to vote by proxy on the specific agenda motions and Regional Directors present will have had the opportunity to consult with their Regional Directorate prior to the meeting.

If a Regional Director is unable to attend the General Assembly, they may register their votes on the motions by proxy or the Regional Director may appoint another voting delegate. In this case, written confirmation signed by the Regional Director must be presented to the IPSC Secretary before the commencement of the meeting, preferably in advance by email to secretary@ipsc.org
